So I decided to redesign G1-G3 ponies in Friendship is Magic style! This was really fun. xD
From left to right, top to bottom:
Tex ( http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Tex ) : A deputy in Appleloosa. He made a name for weathering the harsh desert that surronds the town, and is the go-to pony for search parties and guiding travelers through the sands.
Banjo Blues ( renamed “Banjo Blue” http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Banjo_Blue ) : Older cousin of Snips, Banjo Blues was raised as a high-class mare in Manehatten. However, her passion always was for good down-home country music. She became an instant hit with her twangy, folksy songs and travels around performing. Because of her raising, she can hold the best with other celebrities at red carpet events, but always has that sincere country attititude.
Kimono ( http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Kimono ): A high socialite and regular attender of the Grand Galloping Gala. Kimono runs a party and wedding planning business. High-class parties, of course. She is a very busy women, with plenty of fundraisers and important meetings to intend to. (Every time I colored her, she ended up looking like an older Twilight Sparkle, or just wierd. So she’s not colored in… feel free to color her! Just show me the result!)
Starflash ( http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Starflash ): Her celebrity photography and papparazi work is so amazing, Starflash has almost become a celebrity in her own right. Anytime any event is happening in the world of ponies, Starflash is there. From surprisingly charming candid shots to red-carpet openings, her photos are unbeatable.
North Star ( http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/North_Star ): A high-energy little pony, although full grown North Star will never loose her child-like heart. She spends her day breezing around in the sky, leaving her tell-tale aurora trace as she goes. Although an impressive flyer that has caught the attention of some scouting groups, North Star is a bit to flighty to get a steady career in show-flying (like the Wonderbolts.)
